My family members and I transferred to the USA in 2014 We selected Memphis as our 2nd home to start fresh and build a better future.
When I finished secondary school in 2020, I determined to join the Army Book so I might function full-time to aid sustain my family monetarily. In the process, my moms and dads constantly advised me of the value of an university level. Honestly, I struggled with the choice between choosing work over school.
That changed when I found the University of Memphis Global (UofM Global) where I can gain my level 100 % online from an accredited, country wide identified Carnegie R 1 university. The adaptability of the program made it feasible to stabilize work, life, and education and learning. When I registered, I understood I made the right option.
As an on-line student, I stayed involved with school life with job fairs and signing up with trainee organizations like the Society of Personnel Monitoring. I wished to obtain one of the most out of my university experience and connect with individuals that shared my interest for human resources.
Last November, I deployed to Kuwait, with a month left of fall semester. Thanks to the support and structure of UofM International, I had the ability to end up strong, even making the Dean’s Listing. I’m taking four courses while serving on active service, and I’m pleased to claim I’ll be graduating in May.
Being able to offer my nation, support my family, and earn my degree means the world to me. I feel ready to take on whatever follows.
